Howdy!!! To R.E.S.P.E.C.T. someone is not something that can be taught; neither can it be imposed on someone by some laws. What is happening nowadays in country is known to all of you. So, let’s not go into the background. What my point is, it can only be stopped once people will learn to R.E.S.P.E.C.T.. [...]

10 ka 7: The Long Weekend – I
Howdy!!!
It was a long and one of the best weekend. I wanted to write in sequence but I don’t think that I am going to do that. Because I think to-write is spontaneous, so I am writing whatever is fresh in my mind.
We were returning from Runway 9. We stopped near Hussain Sagar to see the lightings. But it was not that beautiful as I had expected. My sister was craving for panipuri, so we stopped in front of one of the stall. She asked the rate and he said 7 for 10. Then she murmured to me that near her place they sale 10 for 10. I told that perhaps because of the nice location, right in front of NTR Gardens, they are charging more. He heard this and he gave this explanation.
According to him, they sale only 7 for 10 INR because they need to give money to police as local tax or call it bribe simply. He told us that the car that you have parked here is in no parking zone, but the police will not book a ticket as you are eating panipuri here in my stall. So, if police will ask for fine every now and then to you people, people like you won’t stop here to eat and we will not be able to earn. Instead police take money from us. This way, you are happy, they are happy and I am happy.
So, it’s a win-win situation for everyone. But is it fair? It is wrong. Isn’t it? But we never bother to change it. It’s not only me or us, it is everyone.
Will be here soon
PS: I was thinking of giving it a turn, towards a more serious issue, you may call it corruption. But I couldn’t actually figure out from where to start. It’s very complicated to solve, but very easy to live with it.
ek thi zoya???
Howdy!!!
Monday night, I was feeling a little weak. It turned out in the morning that I had three to four fever attacks in the night. So, I decided not to go to office on Tuesday. I stayed alone whole day and I was getting bored.
I thought of watching movie on Tuesday evening. Unfortunately, there was no good movie being shown in the multiplex near to my place. I asked my friend Monisha, to look for some movie and book tickets. After checking all the option she decided to book the tickets for ‘Ek Tha Tiger’. I objected, though, many times, but she didn’t listen. I don’t know what to say, it was fortunate or unfortunate, we got the tickets of the first day, and believe me when we reached to watch the movie, the crowd was like I had never seen before.
So, the movie started, and as expected, like in a typical Salman Khan movie, the crowd started to cheer when the shadow of Salman Khan appeared on the screen with the film’s title. I was laughing, not cheering
.
I am not going to tell you the story, clearly, I didn’t like the movie, neither Monisha did. But, I would like to tell you something, that I felt after getting up from the seat.
I have watched several movies in recent future, after coming to Hyderabad. And I have watched all kinds of movies, hit, flop, super hit, super flop etc. But every time, I used to think like, it was okay, it wasn’t the wastage of money, it was like, one time watch. But, today, after I got up from my seat, I was so unhappy. I didn’t even think that movie is finishing here and it did…and then I thought, oh my god, it was such a wastage of time. I mean, I had never felt like this, I have even watched a Telugu movie, but I didn’t feel like this. Fortunately I went to a small multiplex, the ticket was just for 80 INR. I saved 50%.
One more thing, the name of the movie could have been ‘ek thi zoya’, it wouldn’t have made much difference.
My suggestion, don’t watch.
Will be here soon
