Howdy!!! To R.E.S.P.E.C.T. someone is not something that can be taught; neither can it be imposed on someone by some laws. What is happening nowadays in country is known to all of you. So, let’s not go into the background. What my point is, it can only be stopped once people will learn to R.E.S.P.E.C.T.. [...]

Tap and Go = TAGGO
Hello friends,
According to the article, the very first inspiration that made my way here, quoting again “If you are not on SNS like facebook or twitter or else you are living in the past”. So according to this I am on the transition state between past and future. The reason is, I am not using facebook anymore, but I have a twitter, linkedin, myspace and orkut account, which I don’t use frequently. Because Orkut is past itself (since it does not have a facebook account
), and rest you people don’t use. So what else now left to do on my mobile phone. I regularly check my gmail and BPUT website (for obvious reason). Now I have decided to read news on my phone since I cannot concentrate on low quality paper which comprises of some news and more adds.
I was sitting in Tamya(tea shop), and was reading BBC news. There was some news about silicon valley and further something about facebook. So I decided to read what’s happening in future, and I found facebook is actually going in future. So here is a part of that article, which I think you people will like.
There is a person named Aneace Haddad, serial entrepreneur, who has created recently this device named Taggo which is short form of tap-and-go (if you want to read interesting details, visit BBC’s official site). This device works as a membership card for retailers like a restaurant. Nowadays many retailers have their fan page on facebook but they don’t have a website of their own. So instead of filling a loyalty form they will use a plastic card, that you use in your daily life for contactless payment for example, having a unique number and it will sign you up as a fan of that retailer. And you’ll be in line of receiving special offers and other discounts. The idea is that it’ll work as substitute of any kind of coupon or loyalty card of a retailer. You just have to “TAP” your card and the clerk will know whether you are a fan or not and if you are, here you “GO”. Its already been implemented at some place in Singapore. Great isn’t it.
So in this fast moving life, stay in touch with the internet. You will get to know many good things. If you are using facebook, become fan of some retailers regularly. The inception and growth of technology at this level will make our life paperless someday. So in future you’ll leave your home with a wallet full of plastic cards and you will be able to do anything you’ll like. Have a nice future. And someday if they will remove applications (which I hate) from facebook I’ll come back otherwise I’ll make some call to owner of other SNS to implement this idea
.
Will be here soon
PS: If nothing will work I’ll develop a new SNS of my own.
Live for the Moment
Howdy,
Here I am. Once again. I think and hope, at least one person is out there who reads my blog continuously, so to him/her, thank you and keep reading. My frequency is good, as I measure (and you, yes you also think that, isn’t it). I just want to keep it up. So here I present one more.
This time I am going to tell you what we do for living (don’t think that serious), I mean how we live here away from our home in hostel. According to me this four year will turn out as the best part of your life. Few people (including me) get rare chance to spend this much time with same and good (amazingly good) friends. So let me tell you what actually we do. For most of the part of our college life till now, we have spent it doing meaningless but very much enjoyable (do you need anything else, no I don’t) things. Second we study 10-15 (or more in rare case) days before semesters. Yes only this much. But if I am going to explain the first part…, no I cant because there is no such facility on internet till now that you can read this while I am writing (also i cant do this, because I am not a puppet). I mean live update, because it will never end (don’t think too much if you are not getting, just leave 1-2 lines who cares). So I decided to give a snapshot of our beeeewtiful life. So check it out. Here is the list of some unusual things (selected and top rated) we do and have done till now.
1. On diwali night, we, a total of 11 guys dined together on same table (have you seen the size of table???) and after that one night there were 8 (so close).
2. No one would like to sit on the same table, on which we eat (want to know the reason? Because along with ourselves we also feed our table). Food is .. Leave it. Don’t deserve even a sentence.
3. Whenever we see each other we speak our language for about 5-10 minutes continuously. Of course starting with AE..O..AE.
4. Kunal (deserves a separate point) produces his bird voice (not getting, for this you have to read older post, sorry but cant help) whenever he sees a stranger.
5. Anand (also deserves a separate point), whenever he sees dogs , he kicks them form back (when they stays least conscious).
6. Whenever we see one of us talking over phone, we do some strange thing. Let me try to explain. Everybody push that person from all angles (specially from top, head) for at least 2-minutes. We have given this a name : it’s called “dhetiyana” (try to read, cant.. Contact us).
7. Its time for Pinku (sometimes known as Shashank), whenever he talks on phone we all start to call his name (pinku. Again want to know the reason. Leave it. Don’t count this line).
8. We have one more gem with us, Piyush, do you know him??? Refer first post. Cool and calm as ice. Speaks less. He use only one liner after we all finish our comments, and believe me we laugh like hell.
9. We always try to do something innovative , we give names to people, we think of some unique names (don’t want to go in details), we try speak different language like oriya, even telugu in our own syle etc.
10. Last (for now) but not the least we enjoy each moment, you know, people who don’t know us or don’t understand us clearly also enjoy only by seeing us doing funny things.
That’s all for now. Hope you will like it.
Will be here soon
You can not Beat him!!!!!
AE..O..AE..
Once again, for the disclaimer Part:
“All characters and events in this post are not fictitious. They are exactly same as what we are and what we do. And only if you are involved with this (our) group, you can understand what’s this about. If you are completely unaware of the characters mentioned then you can stop reading because if you will read further it can result in some bad impression of mine on you, for which I’ll not be responsible”.
According to me, if a person has the ability to make someone laugh, then it’s the best part of his/her life. And if you can sing a song in a manner such that each word is pronounced in backward direction (like kal = lak (Hindi)), and then one more, if you can sing a song by making most irritating sound from your vocal cord then I am sure you can not be other than Kunal.
Introducing multi talented Kunal , strongest competitor of Anand (remember. Note: Anand can also do the last part mentioned above, sometimes better than Kunal
). With friends like them among us, we enjoy every moment. I swear, he can make us laugh whole day, without break. I got this chance only for one semester when we the CS guys had to move to the IT classroom for attending some AI class, I am telling you, he was unstoppable even in the presence of faculty.
Can you Imagine, how interesting your life can be if you are having such gems with you. Let me tell you some more about him, he does whatever his mind tells him to do (Do we people do that? No, not always). His style of reading messages (sms) is one of the best thing which makes us laugh. His favorite and most frequent habit is, at any place , even in library (where everybody study seriously, exam fever), he can produce some interesting sound (sounds like a bird’s voice) and can pretend such that he has done nothing ( I know you are not getting this, you need to see him doing this to understand what I am telling. After all, I am not that good at writing). One more quality, which I think you will like most is that he can talk to any stranger for like uncountable minutes and can do things that we enjoy like we never did before. An interesting one, have you ever heard a puppy crying ? Yes or no, whatever, you want to listen?? Come to Anand (founder of our new language), he can make this sound, I bet you, sometimes better than a puppy. But still if you have some talent then you can not hide them and if you cant hide, then people like Kunal, obviously can easily learn them. But Kunal is still learning and he has to work hard to do this (
) .
To Kunal,
If you are reading this, can you do a favor, contact Anand and translate this post in our new language (still haven’t got a name and you can see the effect) so that I can post it one more time. It’ll be a new kind of thing (and without any effort I’ll have one more post
).

UNtitled
It was nowhere in the news, no rumor, it was sudden and as everytime happens, it was good for some people and for some it was bad. Talking about myself, I am very much happy with it not because I will get more time but because I am going home. OOPS
, I think I forget to tell you what’s the news, sorry folks but I think you know this, yes once again “BPUT has postponed the examination”, but this time for some fixed period (10 days). Now coming back to my happiness, I am happy because I am going home AND I am going to meet my elder brother, PS (alternatively known as Prasenjit) and sister Indira. Focus on AND, its logical operator like OR, AND, NOR etc, both conditions are true that’s why I am happier than my usual home visit.
Now talking about our own BPUT and its undecided examination schedule, I collected some opinion from our daily chat at Ramu Gumti.
First, it would be unfair if I don’t tell what BPUT says, it says “Due to some unavoidable circumstances odd semester examination commencing from 1st stands postponed.” Then comes Kumar Shanu (of course our friend, sometimes referred as Live Google and Live Radio) says “Exam was shifted first time (yes its second time) because of unavailability of resources like question paper, and this time same condition applies (in my opinion, reasonable)”. According to me, I say “BPUT has now become used to of strikes so they had prepared 2-3 schedules before the 1st notice. Now students aren’t going on strike so they don’t want to waste their work. As a result BPUT has now postponed the examination”.
One more reason (writing in separate paragraph, you will know soon why). Here comes Anand (if you don’t know him refer below in older post). According to Anand “BPUT should organize semester exams ONLINE (over the internet not even in college, but at any café) within a period of (say) one month. Then what will happen, students will be able to write exams anytime, anywhere. And we will wait for the last dates.”
To Anand,
I am not on facebook now, so I don’t know whether you have updated your status with this or not, but I LIKE THIS (thumbs up ). And here goes my comment ” Sahi hai, with this facility we (not me) can also use facebook, in separate window (thanks to Microsoft
)while appearing in exams.”
Okay, people out there even if you are not interested, I am letting you know that I am leaving on Dec 3rd and will be back on 7th. Thank you, for reading yet another post.
Will be here soon
PS: Happy journey to them who are going home, study well to people who have got more time to study and for rest of my friends “Enjoy. Still 14-15 days are there for exams”.
India at its BEST, really
Believe it or not. With the fantastic performances by several Indian athletes, India has somehow managed to reach the 6th position (Times Sport, dated: Nov 27, 2010) in the medal tally. And it’s the best show by India till now, after 1982, Delhi, where India clinched 13 gold and a total of 57 medals. Indian boxer Vijender Singh came up with the 14th gold as India finished with a total of 64 (17 silver and 33 bronze). Also glory came from tennis where Somdev Devvarman gave India, its first ever gold in singles event (he earned another gold in doubles title). I think all of you are very well updated with Indian performance in Asiad XVI. I can not fill spaces here by giving too much details about each gold winner, and after that if I’ll leave silver and bronze medallions it’ll not be fair.
I am thinking right now, if I’ll go in details I can use divide and conquer rule ( I am a computer science student, if you don’t know), I can achieve the target by using 3-4 posts here. But try (just try) to imagine what will happen to that guy, who will be thinking (practically impossible) of writing about, what I thought of, (refer 1st line of this paragraph) somewhere in China ( I don’t think somebody will write about China’s medal tally in India). Poor guy. I don’t understand why and how they managed themselves to win 412 medals. What they will do by winning this much. Chinese have earned 197 gold and are at the top (do I need to mention it ) and at the second place South korea with 75 golds and a total of 229. I mean, if you want to stay at the top, win 100-120 and you will be there. Why 197, this is ridiculously amazing, isn’t it. They should learn from us 14 and we are at 6th position but still best in history. Even people in India are also happy. We measure ourselves from our standard. Winners are happy (they have right to be) and population of over a billion is also happy, what’s the need of being topper.
India is the second largest populated country, but in Asiad we stayed at 6th (don’t dare to think about Olympics, there are plenty of big fishes if you try to expand boundaries). Even country like Iran and Kazakhstan are above us. Now for the time being and for the sake of some happiness, lets add gold silver and bronze: total – 64, and now look at the medal tally we are at 3rd place (if you thought about second you are stupid and if thought about first, let it go, you love your country too much). We should say thanks to Japan, for this comparison stats, they won only 47 gold, only 47 to send us to 3rd place in this meaningless game of statistics.
Nothing can be done regarding this, after all we have broken a record of 13 gold and did our best to get 14 after so long. Congratulations to all the winner, you are great, may all other get inspired from you. Really it would have felt great when you won a medal for your country, NO COMPLAINS. Wish there will be more like you in future.

Ramu Ki Chai 3/- only
Ramu ki Chai 3/- only. Have you seen this board??? If yes, you are definitely a boy. You will not find this in writing at any place but I can say it’s an unwritten rule that ” Entry of girls is strictly prohibited in Ramu Gumti”.
Yes, of course, all of you would have known from the title itself that I am talking about Ramu Gumti. I know all of you are fully aware of all the details about Ramu Gumti, but for them who have no clue (I think, there is no harm in thinking that these kind of people will also read (sometime, somewhere, someday) my blog
), Ramu Gumti is the famous(est
) part of NIST (our college, again for the same reason), where you can have chai, incomparable to any other shop’s chai, only for Rs 3/-. Good for us.
At first it looks like a simple chai ki dukan, but its more than a shop. I can say, for many of us, about 50% of classes take place here. And if college will show some sympathy on its students for tolerating 100 minutes class by not giving a cut-off attendance percentage for semesters, the statistics will go up to 95-100% attendance, not in classroom but in Ramu Gumti. Along with the day shift we also get morning and late evening shifts here. There is no restrictions here, we can do whatever we want ( we know our limits of course
). Even our faculties take chai from here. But they can not feel the essence of ‘Ramu ki chai’ (exception exists here too : thanks to students who became faculty here ). And for girls, here comes Shanu (not my friend) and some others. They serve chai to them at our one more famous, Munna Gumti ( famous for mostly other reasons ). So, Ramu has served chai to almost every person who have came to NIST. Thanks to Ramu for providing this facility from morning 6 to late evening 8.
If any of you have not got the chance of tasting it, I suggest you to do this as soon as possible( first complete it ). And after having chai, if you get time, spend sometime there, come to your place and read this again, you’ll enjoy more. The chai is great here. I and most of us have not found this taste anywhere else. I don’t know how does he do that. Perhaps some magic, according to my friend (you, dont smile
).
For you people (most of you know I think), let me tell you some points related to me,
My favorite time pass – to sit in Ramu Gumti,
My favorite drink – chai (Specially and Specially Ramu ki chai),
You can find me (if it’s a college day) – in Ramu Gumti at any time ( conditions apply here ),
My favorite food – Ramu ki chai.
Go and get a cup of tea (did you notice, used first time in this post).

Innovation: It has no limits
Hi people,
Perhaps the interest of blogging in me has reached that level that whenever I see anything of new kind, it tends to become the subject of my new post. Though the subject and object of this post is not new, but I am new here. So I let it to be one of my entry. Also for your information I have not taken the permission of the person about whom I am going to write. For the subject of this post : If you read this work and feel bad please inform me I’ll remove it happily (at least you’ll be one of the reader of this blog).
Now for the disclaimer part :
“All characters and events in this post are not fictitious. They are exactly same as what we are and what we do.”
Subject: Our very own ANAND, my batch mate( for four years), hostel mate (first year), roommate (second year), some( actually I don’t know) mate (third year) and finally block mate (in hostel, more closer than first year, in final year) .
Brief description of object : His innovative mind.
From first year itself I and many of us have seen his extra-ordinary talent in doing ‘hat-ke things’. This time he did nothing big, he just innovated a new language for us (
thank you from the core of my heart for doing this). Also its not a new one, but its unique. The biggest plus point of this language is that its probably the easiest language to learn. It comprises of only five letters (so easy to remember), unlike English – twentieeee siiiiixxxx alphabets and Hindi – ** ( I don’t remember exact figures but it was a two digit and above 40 for sure). You have to remember following : a, e, i, o, u. Yes its 100% right, only these five letters you will have to use (and some hand movements for beginners) if you are speaking this language. We are still in learning stage (except the founder), we are able to use only those words which he has already said. One more personality I would like to introduce here is, Kunal (will tell you about him more some other time). He is the strongest competitor of Anand. Coming back to our generation next language, I am thinking of suggesting him ( Anand) to give it a name. Having no name, according to me, is something like incomplete, it has some side effects, like for example it is increasing number of words in my post (but I am liking it
). Before leaving I would like to say you (I should have wrote this at the starting but some of you would have not understood it) :
AE.. O.. AE.. (Its english meaning can be written as ‘HI’, which we say when we see some one familiar).
Babye ( till now I have neither asked nor learnt its translation).

Something is meant be Something
One fine morning, my friend suggested me to read this article in the news paper. It was about generation next, generation gap, technology etc. It was a nice one. One paragraph of that article was suggesting that if you are not using a social networking site you are living in yesterday. But the question is, are we really using these SNS for the same purpose for what they were created and meant to be? I can answer this question with a simple No.
Every one knows why and how these SNS were created. Every one knows the origin of facebook and orkut. Then why do we do things that we are not supposed to be doing there? When I joined orkut it was a total hit. People used to write to their friends and it was the best way to find old friends. Initially it was simple but then something called application hit the market and bang!!! The originality was gone. People started spending their time on these applications. After few days facebook joined people (now people join facebook) and took almost all interest. Only because it was simpler and easier to access. But again there was this a-thing. Initially people used to share what’s in their mind. Now people shares what they are doing. When I open home page of my facebook account all I can see is that someone is doing this, someone has done that, someone has challenged you. What happened to “What’s on your mind” ???? Don’t you want to share it now, don’t you want to receive comments about your status???? I counted yesterday and found, out of around 30 posts only 6-7 were status updates(including mine). So now for one more time, I am waiting for one more simple SNS to join us, where we can again share what’s on our mind.
The thing is, something is meant to be exactly some thing. We should not mess things up.
To people who liked this, I thank you.
To people who did not, I’ll try better.
And for them who only read this and felt nothing, I can do better, keep reading.
Will be here soon
hi Folks!!!
Hello everyone,
Finally I got time to write something here and I am doing it online, no rough work and copy paste. Perhaps its too late and I should be studying one of my heavy books as only seven days have left for the exams. But from my personal eperience I am telling you, that people get interested in many extra curriculur activities when they have to and should concentrate on some different thing. According to me the real talent of a person can easily be seen in such situations. They study hard, day and night only for getting at least a D grade in all the subject (C is good, B is better and A is Best for people like us). Rest of the year except these 10-20 days what we do (dont mind if you are not in this we), TIMEPASS. Every year people having higher authorities do their best to keep us engaged whole year but who cares we need only the last dates. What I am doing here??? Is it necessary to write this now?? Of course not. But I am doing it (still 6 days and 7 nights are there if I am not wrong). Right now I am disturbing my good friend Piyush who is sleeping before his usual time because of my unwanted presence I think, sitting in his room and writing this for no reason. Main kya hai (familiar with Khichdi???) INTEREST.
Actually the main reason of this text-work is something else, which I will tell you very soon (to increase number of posts
). For them who became the inspiration of this unknowingly, I thank you.
will be here soon.
